General introduction

The KYN28 indoor metal-clad withdrawable switchgear, often referred to simply as 'switchgear', is a premier power distribution device designed for a voltage range of 3.6~24KV, operating within a 3-phase AC 50Hz single bus sectionalized system. This versatile device is essential for efficient power transmission from medium to small generators in power plants, as well as for power reception and distribution in substations, and power systems across factories, mines, and enterprises. Additionally, it is ideal for initiating large high-voltage motors, providing comprehensive system control, protection, and monitoring. Engineered to meet the rigorous standards of IEC298 and GB3906-91 standard.

Working environment
1. The ambient air temperature ranges from a brisk -5°C to a warm +40°C, ensuring reliable operation under varied climatic conditions.
2. Daily average temperature (within 24 hours) should not exceed +35°C, maintaining optimal performance throughout the day.
3. Suitable for locations at altitudes of less than 1000 meters, making it versatile for diverse geographical areas.
4. Relative humidity is manageable, with daily average values up to 95% and daily average vapor pressure up to 2.2KPa, allowing the device to function effectively even in humid environments.
Additionally, the monthly average relative humidity should be ≤ 90%, with monthly average vapor pressure staying ≤ 1.8KPa, ensuring consistent functionality over time.
* The ambient air must be free from significant pollution by dust, smoke, corrosive or flammable gases, vapors, or salt contamination, guaranteeing longevity and reliability.

KYN28 indoor metal-clad withdrawable switchgear(hereafter short as switchgear) is a complete power distribution device for 3.6~24KV, 3 phase AC 50Hz, single bus sectionalized system. It is main used for power transmission of middle/small generators in power plants, power receiving, transmission for substations in power distribution and power system of factories, mines and enterprises, and starting of large high-voltage motor, etc, so as to control, protect and monitor the system. The switchgear meets IEC298, GB3906-91. In addition to be used with domestic VS1 vacuum circuit breaker, it can be used with VD4 , 3AH5 from Siemens domestic ZN65A, and VB2 from GE, etc. It is truly a power distribution deviece with good performance.

In order to meet the requirement for wall mounting and front-end maintenance, the switchgear is equipped with a special current transformer, so that the operator can maintain and inspect it in front of the cubicle.

Featuring a modular design, the device is thoughtfully divided into independent functional compartments such as the busbar room, circuit breaker room, and cable room, offering robust fault isolation and simplified maintenance procedures.
The center-mounted circuit breaker trolley is ingeniously designed, employing a specialized running trolley to meet the stringent 'five preventions' interlocking requirements, ensuring safety and reliability.

Offering protection levels of IP4X or higher (with IP2X as the basic requirement), the device provides excellent defense against dust, small animals, and external objects, ensuring its durability and safety.
