- Complete Protective Devices: When the transformer fails and causes internal pressure to reach 35Kpa, the pressure relief valve actuates to release pressure or alarm. When the pressure decreases to normal, it returns to its original state, allowing the transformer to continue operating. Transformers with a capacity of 800KVA and above are equipped with signal thermometers and gas relays, which trip or alarm at appropriate temperatures.
