Overview
Three-phase combined overvoltage protector (three-phase combined surge arrester) is used to protect the insulation of electric equipment from overvoltage hazards of the protection of electrical appliances, is a new type of surge arrester, which is characterized by limiting the overvoltage between the phase and the ground at the same time, but also effectively limit the overvoltage between the phases, which is not possible to do with ordinary surge arrester. It is widely used to protect vacuum switches, rotating motors, shunt compensation capacitors, power plants, substations and so on. This combination protector adopts large-capacity zinc oxide resistor as the main component inside, which has good volt-ampere characteristics and over-voltage absorption ability, and can provide reliable protection for the protection equipment, which is very popular with the electric power system.
Execution standard
This product implements the national standard GB11032-2000 "AC non-gap metal-oxide surge arrester", JB/T10496-2005 "AC three-phase combined non-gap metal-oxide surge arrester", ZBK49005-90 "AC system with series gap metal-oxide surge arrester", JB/T8459-1996 "surge arrester product modeling method".

Use selection
Three-phase combined overvoltage protector is divided into gapless type and series gap type, the use of the difference is: gapless overvoltage protector, as long as the system has an overvoltage, can be well absorbed and suppressed; and gap-type overvoltage protector, only the overvoltage on the system energy reaches the overvoltage protector to break through the series gap in the overvoltage protector and discharge, gap-type overvoltage protector will be acted upon.
