Usually, the cable intermediate joint is used for a short distance, but when the line is relatively long, according to experience, it is above 1000m On the cable line, if there are multiple intermediate joints in the middle of the cable, in order to ensure safety, the cable branch box will be considered for transfer.
Cable branch boxes are widely used outdoors. With the advancement of technology, the number of cable branch boxes with switches is also increasing, and urban cables often use double-circuit power supply, so some people directly call the branch boxes with switches as outdoor ring network. Cabinets, but at present most of such ring network cabinets cannot realize distribution network automation, but manufacturers have launched outdoor ring network cabinets that can distribute network automation, which also makes the boundaries between cable branch boxes and ring network cabinets begin to blur.
