When the 12kV overhead distribution line T branch line or the end user fails, when the protection action time limit of the inlet switch and the protection time limit of the substation outlet switch cannot be reasonably adjusted, it will cause the substation outlet switch to trip. lf the fault is permanent in nature and the substation coincidence will be unsuccessful, a local disturbance within the medium-voltage user boundary will outage the entire 12kV distribution line. lf an outdoor demarcation circuit breaker is installed at the T junction or the user end (responsibility demarcation point), and the fault (overcurrent,short circuit, single-phase ground, etc.) is confirmed within the user boundary after judgment, the fault is automatically isolated, which can ensure the normal power consumption of users in non-fault areas. The application of ZW32-12F outdoor high-voltage intelligent demarcation vacuum circuit breaker (watchdog) on 12kV feed overhead line can avoid the cascade power outage of trouble-free lines, reduce the scope of faulty power outages, shorten the power outage time of users, and protect the safe operation of the main network. And with fault detection function, protection control function and communication function, it can realize automatic cutting of single-phase ground fault and automatic isolation of short-circuit fault between phases. The installation point is suitable for the dividing point of responsibility for the incomingline of the 12kV distribution line user, and can also be applied to the branch line connection that meets the requirements.
